Blue Planet Photography Referral Bonus Program

Thank you for your interest in the Blue Planet Photography Referral Bonus Program! I don't engage in much paid advertising of my photography workshops and trips. I primarily rely on word-of-mouth and website traffic to promote. I've developed this program to reward those people who recommend my tours to their friends, relatives, and business associates.

Receive a Referral Bonus of 5% of the advertised trip fee for every person you refer to Blue Planet Photography who books a trip.

Program Rules:

1. There is no limit to the number of referrals that you can make to Blue Planet Photography, LLC. However, see #3 below.

2. Referrals can be made via email, regular mail, or phone. Referrals can be valid in 2 ways:

a. You send me a list of names and email addresses and one or more of those individuals books a workshop after being contacted by me (referencing your recommendation)

b. An individual books a workshop and provides your name and contact information as a referral. I should have your name and contact information on file to confirm, or will contact you to confirm.

3. Blue Planet Photography, LLC will not accept bulk submissions of referrals. Any single referral submission containing over 20 names will be considered SPAM and will not be processed. Likewise, multiple submissions of smaller groups of names (to avoid the 20 limit rule) will be considered SPAM unless I have been contacted previously and the situation explained and approved.

4. Referral bonuses are given on a first come, first served basis. If more than one person submits the same name, only the first one received will qualify for the bonus.

5. You cannot refer yourself. Travel agents and other aggregate travel organizers are not eligible except by prior agreement.

6. Referring individuals accompanying you on the same workshop will result in a corresponding discount to your workshop fee in lieu of a referral bonus check.

7. Workshop attendance/participation is not required to receive a referral bonus.

8. Referral Bonus checks will be issued within 30 days following the completion of the booked trip.

9. Referral Bonus checks can be made payable to an individual (you or someone you designate), a company, or your favorite charity. For charitable contributions, the payment can be made on your behalf or whomever you designate.

10. If the trip is cancelled, by the individual or group who booked the trip or by Blue Planet Photography, LLC, no bonus check will be issued.

11. If your referral bonus accumulation is greater than $600 in a given tax year, U.S. Tax Law requires that I issue you a 1099 form for tax purposes at the end of that year. If that occurs, I will contact you for additional information.
